• Prepare monthly management accounts.
• Perform variance analysis to understand the performance of the business.
• Profit & loss accounts.
• Balance sheet reconciliations.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Oversee the reconciliation of accounts.
• Comply with all financial regulations and standards.
• Assist in the preparation of year-end audits.
• Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Professional certification such as ACCA or CIMA.
• Proven experience in a similar role within the retail industry.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
• Excellent analytical and numerical abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
