Electrical Engineering Maintenance Tutor - Exeter College

You don’t need a teaching qualification, but you will need to be enthusiastic, great at explaining things and knowledgeable about electrical engineering. You’ll be training groups of apprentices in electrical maintenance - ideally based on industrial line maintenance.

You’ll also have a caseload of students to visit in the workplace, so there’ll be lots of variety.

What you’ll be doing…
  • training apprentices and wider industry
  • marking work, tracking progress and giving feedback
  • supporting, training and mentoring the next generation of electrical engineers at our state-of-the-art Technology Centre in Monkerton (near M5 junction 29), and on site with a range of employers
  • joining one of the best engineering training centres in the UK
