Cover Supervisor - Chester

Job Description:
The role of a Cover Supervisor is crucial in ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations within a school setting. The primary responsibility is to supervise students in the absence of their regular teachers, providing a supportive and structured learning environment.
Job Duties:
- Supervise students in various classroom settings
- Ensure students are engaged in learning activities
- Manage classroom behaviour and enforce school policies
- Assist with the implementation of lesson plans provided by regular teachers
- Report back on student progress and any issues to teaching staff
Required Qualifications:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage and motivate students
Education, Experience, Knowledge, and Skills:
- Previous experience working with children or young adults
- Understanding of classroom dynamics and behaviour management techniques
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask
Preferred Qualifications:
- Higher education qualifications in a relevant field
- First Aid certification
Working Conditions:
- Work hours typically follow school hours

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
