The brand new purposed built state of the art manufacturing facility is based in Huddersfield making it accessible from surrounding towns and cities including, Halifax, Elland, Bradford, Leeds and Wakefield.

Key Responsibilities of the Quality Inspector

Documenting non-conformances.
Creating monthly reports based on trend- going into detail on top 3 issues.
Assisting with investigations to root cause and creation of a corrective plan action.
Continuous improvement- Identifying any potential areas for improvement.
Final product inspection- to assist and advise production if the finished product is acceptable to be shipped.
Product & Process audits- carry out audits within the manufacturing department according to schedule and raise non- conformances as required with the emphasis being on maintaining product quality.

Quality champion- to be proactive with regards to the quality system and other shop floor enquiries.

Work hours of the Quality Inspector

Monday to Thursday: 08:00-17:00.

Friday: 08:00-13:45.

Minimum skills/ experienced required

GCSE level education English & Maths.
Experience in working within an engineering and manufacturing background.
Experience in similar roles
Ability to read from engineering drawings Desirable
Computer literate

Be able to use basic measuring equipment vernier calliper & micrometres

In Return, the Quality Inspector will receive

£32,000-£36,00 per annum DOE.
Early finish on a Friday.
Flexible working hours.
14 pension contribution.
