Location: Stone (on-site)- must have full UK Driving License.
Salary: market- related
VIQU has partnered with a top engineering company seeking a Site Supervisor to create and manage project plans. The successful candidate will have an electrical engineering background with experience with the National Grid substations or similar.
This position requires two days on-site in Stone, offering a competitive salary. They also offer a competitive benefits package along with internal programs The role will involve day to day supervision of the electrical contractors as well as assisting onsite.
Key Responsibilities of the Site Supervisor:
â- Supervised installation and customer acceptance of Substation Control & Protection Systems, ensuring compliance with safety standards and site protocols.â
- Led site teams (1-5 engineers) through installation and commissioning phases.â
- Managed subcontractors for cabling and minor electrical/ mechanical works.â
- Conducted client progress meetings and maintained project documentation.â
- Oversaw site welfare and health & safety compliance.â
- Coordinated with project teams to ensure proper resource planning and delivery to scope.â
- Performed inspections, completed ITPs, and flagged quality issues.â
- Supported electrical installation, testing, and commissioning activities.â
- Produced electrical drawings, specifications, and site survey reports.â
- Prepared Risk Assessments and Method Statements.

Key Requirements of the Site Supervisor:
â- Previous experience supervising E, C and I installation for Control or Protection systems.â
- National Gridwork experienceâ
- Experience of circuit diagrams or assembly printsâ
- First Aid at work certifiedâ
- Certifications: SSSTS, Arc Flash, PASMA, 18th Edition, Impressed Voltages, Asbestos Awareness, Manual Handling, Confined Space Awareness, LOTO Training ul>
