The Role and Responsibilities
EnerMech have a new vacancy for a Cost Engineer in our Aberdeen office. The Cost Engineer will take responsibility for analysing the project estimate and monitoring and forecasting the project cost performance to ensure as-bid position is achieved.Establishing effective revenue models, minimising business risks, accurately forecasting and reporting will be key.
Tasks will include:
- Implementing cost reporting and forecasting on assigned projects
- Managing project cost performance, variance and supporting change management
- Liaise with business operations, central support, logistics, procurement and all stakeholders to effectively manage project costs
- Support the project manager in project cost performance and reporting requirements
- Project reporting and performance management including KPI reporting
- Coordination with finance and shared service center to ensure effective invoicing process
- Interface with commercial and finance on invoicing and DSO performance monitoring
- Ensure effective change management, variations and Purchase tracking practices are in place
The Requirements
To be successful in this role we are looking for someone with experience in project cost and performance management and relevant professional qualifications in project management, cost professional or business management. You will need a strong financial and commercial acumen with the ability to communicate and lead effectively.
