Job Description
The Management Accountant role in Reading will involve the following tasks:
- Preparing and presenting monthly financial statements
- Assisting in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Performing variance analysis to understand differences between actual and forecasted financial performance
- Ensuring compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements
- Contributing to the improvement of financial processes and systems
- Collaborating with other departments to improve financial performance
- Supporting the audit process by providing necessary information and explanations
- Participating in ad-hoc financial projects as required
The Successful Applicant
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA or ACA
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in financial software and MS Office
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Proven ability to work in a team environment
