The Role
You will be joining a dedicated team of experienced support workers at our supported living service in Glasgow. On a typical day you will promote independence and support people to meet their chosen outcomes and goals. Full support is required for all day to day living tasks including:
Preparing and administering medicationPreparing meals of the people we supports choice from scratch
Providing hands on intimate personal care duties with males and female
Support to make and attend health care appointments
Support to manage finances
Supporting to attend chosen activities including swimming, going out for meals and visiting family
Shifts and working hours
Waking Night Shifts will be two or three nights per week
Working between 9pm - 8am
Shifts are on a rota basis Monday to Sunday and will not be the same each week, therefore you must be flexible with your availability.
Previous experience is preferred for this position although full training will be provided.
Full UK driving licence would be preferable as one of the PWS has a mobility car.
An enhanced Adult PVG will be required for this role.
