Enterprise Architect / IT Solution Architect with previous experience in a similar cloud computing, data management or integration solutions role, a strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman), and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills is required to join the IT Department of a well-established housing association.
SALARY: £90,000 - £95,000 per annum + Generous Benefits (see below)LOCATION: Hybrid working 1 to 2 days from the Ealing office (W5) and the remaining time from home

We have a fantastic new job opportunity for an Enterprise Architect / IT Solution Architect with previous experience in a similar cloud computing, data management or integration solutions role, a strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman), and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Working as the Enterprise Architect / IT Solution Architect you will be responsible for defining the architectural vision and strategy for the organisation, ensuring that all technology initiatives align with business goals.
As the Enterprise Architect / IT Solution Architect your role will focus on creating a cohesive framework that integrates various systems and processes to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
DUTIES
Your duties as an Enterprise Architect / IT Solution Architect will include:
- Architecture Strategy: Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture framework, including architecture principles, standards, and guidelines that support the organisation’s strategic objectives
- Roadmap Development: Create and maintain a technology roadmap that outlines the short- and long-term vision for IT investments and initiatives
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with senior management, department heads, and stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements
- Technology Evaluation: Assess and recommend new technologies, tools, and platforms that can enhance the services and operational capabilities
- System Integration: Design and oversee the integration of various IT systems and applications to ensure seamless data flow and interoperability
- Governance: Establish and enforce architecture governance processes to ensure compliance with best practices and regulatory requirements
- Performance Monitoring: Analyse and monitor the performance of existing systems and architectures, recommending improvements as needed
- Leadership: Lead and mentor IT staff in architectural practices and methodologies, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of architecture models, processes, and standards
- External environment: Establish and maintain relationships across the housing sector and broader technology industry to help benchmark, leverage best practice and horizon scan
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect or in a similar role, preferably within the housing or public sector
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)
- Experience with cloud computing, data management, and integration solutions
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and make informed decisions
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices related to technology in housing associations
