What You’ll Be Doing:

Join a dedicated Wheelchair Service team and play a key role in supporting service users to access the right equipment and maintain their independence. In this role, you will:

  • Support qualified Occupational Therapists with clinical assessments and interventions
  • Assist in the fitting and adjustment of wheelchair equipment
  • Carry out home visits and community-based assessments
  • Liaise with patients, families, and external agencies
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Help coordinate the delivery and follow-up of equipment

Requirements & Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working in a health or social care setting
  • Strong interest or background in Occupational Therapy or Rehabilitation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to a car (essential)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a wider MDT
  • Knowledge or experience in wheelchair services (desirable but not essential)

Working Hours & Contract Duration:

This is a full-time position with flexibility to consider part-time applicants. The contract is ongoing, with the potential for extension based on performance and service need.
