Learning Support Assistant (KS1)

A vibrant and supportive primary school in the Worthing area is seeking a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join their team. As an LSA, you will provide essential support to KS1 students both in group settings and on a 1:1 basis, particularly helping students with challenging behavior and ensuring they remain engaged in their lessons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support KS1 students with challenging behavior in the classroom.
- Help students remain engaged during lessons and activities.
- Provide 1:1 and group support to ensure all students are meeting their learning goals.
- Act as a positive role model to inspire and motivate students.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working in a similar setting (e.g., schools, PRUs, youth work, coaching, or social care).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with students.
- Passionate about supporting young learners and helping them succeed.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
