Job Duties:
- Deliver engaging and effective GCSE English and Maths tutoring sessions to students in outreach programmes
- Create individualised lesson plans based on students' needs and learning styles
- Assess students' progress and provide feedback to help them improve their understanding and performance
- Collaborate with other tutors and educators to enhance the overall learning experience
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and achievements
Required Qualifications:
- A relevant teaching qualification
- Strong subject knowledge in GCSE English and Maths
- Experience working with students in an educational setting
Education:
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in tutoring or teaching GCSE English and Maths
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Proficiency in using educational technology and resources
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Education or related field
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
