We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join a company in North London. This role is crucial as it involves complex tasks related to managing care for individuals with learning disabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in administrative duties and a compassionate approach to handling sensitive situations.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Arranging rotas for carers to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Communicating effectively with carers, including providing detailed instructions and feedback.
  • Writing detailed emails to various stakeholders to keep them informed of care schedules and any changes.
  • Ensuring all documentation is filed correctly, neatly, and labelled accurately.
  • Create and Update invoices accurately, manage cost tracking, oversee expenditure billing, and manage financial documents.
  • Moving around the building as required to collaborate with different teams, ensuring all tasks are handled efficiently.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and demonstrating a high level of professionalism and empathy in all interactions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A few years of experience in an administrative role, ideally within a care setting.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage complex scheduling.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in office software and email management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience in handling sensitive information with discretion and care.
  • Flexibility to move around the office as needed to support various teams.
