About Us:

My client is a major fashion supplier experiencing continued growth, and we are pleased to be supporting with the recruitment of a Merchandiser to join their dynamic team in their new office in Leicester. My client works with leading fast fashion brands, global events companies, music labels, and UK high-street retailers and they're going places!

Role Overview:

As a Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in supporting the sales function and driving the company forward. You will work closely with design and production teams, liaising with customer buyers and merchandisers on all areas of production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Liaising with customer buyers and merchandisers on all areas of production.
• Managing sample submissions and approvals.
• Raising new orders on our systems.
• Creating internal job sheets.
• Critical Path Management.
• Using business software, such as Airtable.
• Engaging with business trackers.
• Coordinating with internal departments including Head of Merchandising, Production, Sales, and Design.
• Creating booking requests and packing lists for customers/clients.
• Organising final deliveries and follow-ups.
• What You Will Need to Succeed:
• At least 2 years of experience in merchandising, preferably with a fashion supplier.
• Commitment to work as part of a team.
• Approachability, friendliness, and supportiveness.
• Initiative and a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Good email management skills.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
