We are currently recruiting for a full-time Store Supervisor role in London to take on a key role at our beautiful flagship, multi-purpose store in Soho, central London.

The successful candidate will be the ultimate brand ambassador for Wolf & Badger in increasing awareness, driving sales, optimising our retail operations processes and handling relationships with customers and brands both in-person and via digital channels.

Please note that this is a retail role and will therefore include work scheduled on a rota including weekends and some public holidays.

Responsibilities and Duties include:

  • Partnering with our Store Manager to oversee retail employees and manage performance - making sure daily tasks are being delegated and completed to our high standards.
  • Training new retail staff members, driving improvements and motivating employees to achieve goals and drive repeat sales and other key performance indicators like conversion rate, email capture, average order value and more.
  • Role-modelling and meeting your own quarterly targets. Deepening your expertise in retail by taking responsibility for our rotating Divisions of Responsibility (DOR) which are Operations, Content and Shop Floor.
  • Liaising with head-office content and marketing teams and retail colleagues to assist with the production of creative and inspiring videos, photos and other creative materials for our online presence.
  • Handling store and online administrative tasks, including goods in and goods out.
  • Partnering with our office team and Senior Retail and Operations Manager, ensuring facilities maintenance, upgrades and health and safety processes are well-managed.
  • Managing stock and handling supply chain issues, particularly for products displayed in store and proactively addressing any stock exceptions. Communicating directly colleagues in our brands team and directly with brand partners to resolve issues and support their success via merchandising, sales and events.
  • Taking responsibility for the store during shifts, coordinating staff rotas and arranging lunches and breaks.
  • Addressing customers requests, comments, concerns or complaints for both store and online customers, liaising with the head-office team where needed.
  • Working with the in-store merchandiser to maintain the general appearance of the store to an exceptionally high standard.

Requirements

Key skills and requirements for the role:

  • Very strong organisational skills including delegation, scheduling and stock management
  • Experience of improving store operations procedures and taking a leading role in stock changeovers, stock-takes and other key processes
  • Confident in making sales and coaching colleagues in shop-floor excellence, to support repeat-custom and long-term relationships with customers and brands
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide high quality feedback to team members and be a point of escalation for customer concerns
  • Adaptable, proactive and collaborative. We are always looking to improve our processes and there are great opportunities to collaborate with other teams such and brands, operations, customer care and PR & events
  • Aesthetic and creative sensibilities to create inspiring social media content and aid our visual merchandiser with in-store displays
  • Experience of risk-management such as health and safety, security and facilities.
  • Sharp attention to detail and curiosity to identify and act on risks and opportunities
  • Great interpersonal skills and team player
  • Effective in team gaining buy-in, ensuring high standards and goals are met and partnering with the store manager on personnel management in a positive and solutions-focussed way
  • Hands on - leads by example and shows commitment to our values of fairness, innovation and execution
  • Comfortable using a variety of software and strong with technology
  • Proactive, thrives under pressure, sees events and changes as exciting opportunities for both business and self. Views work as a positive challenge
