Salaries range from £37,035 up to £42,708 subject to experience.

We are one of the first Authorities in the North-west to be pioneering the Hertfordshire Family Safeguarding model of working with families and training will be provided to learn new skills such as motivational interviewing. We are looking for passionate and committed corporate parents to support our Looked After Children.

Normal hours of work are 37 hours per week, worked throughout the year.
Full time salaries are:
Level 1 Social Worker (ASYE) £37,035 per annum.
Level 2 Social Worker from £37,938 to £39,513 per annum.
Level 3 Social Worker from £40,476 to £42,708 per annum.

Working in the CASS Service
The CASS (Looked After Childrens) service is made up of 3 teams, with 1 Team Manager, 1 AP and 5 Social Workers per team. We work closely with our Next Chapter (Leaving Care) service and have good relationships with our PAs and housing partners to support children up to 18.
Please Note: Level 2 and 3 social workers are not required to interview or supervise. Weekend work is also not required in this post.
