Supply and Delivery Operative

Job overview

There has never been a better time to join the Trust's Supply and Delivery Service. In the last 12 months we have introduced a new scanning system to manage the consumables both on site and at station, so crews don't need to spend time ordering stocks from us.

We have had some great feedback and it has been very well received.

This means we need to ensure we can cover not only having people in the warehouse to place orders, receive deliveries and carry out the picks, but people to go out to stations put the orders away, rota and expiry date check and carry out scans for what will be required on the next visit.

This role covers all of this in a bank capacity to support gaps in staffing when permanent staff are on A/L or sick as the service has to be maintained.

The role of the Supply and Delivery Operative is a gateway to the organisation with opportunities to develop your career both in the team and wider Trust in both patient-facing and a variety of support roles.

This is a bank contract - which means it is a 0 hour contract. We would get in touch when we have business need to support the wider team to staff all tasks and if you were available we would slot you into the gap. Working hours would change week on week and month on month depending on what was required.

We have posts from Cornwall based out of Bodmin, Dorset based out of Dorchester and Devon based out of Exeter. Please ensure you highlight in your personal statement which role you would like to apply for.
