An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full-time Mental Health Practitioner within the Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) based in Reading at Prospect Park Hospital with the option to adopt a flexible hybrid working pattern.

Reading is a vibrant and diverse town situated to the West of London. It has all the bustle one would want from a large urban conurbation and the tranquility afforded by the Thames and the surrounding countryside- Applicants will need to be enthusiastic and able to work flexibly and reliably to contribute to the delivery of outstanding care to our patients.
- Applicants will work within a small team and should have the ability to think calmly and logically under pressure and have a positive attitude to maintaining high standards of work at all times, and able to demonstrate excellent communication skills.
- You will be quick to learn, be able to work as part of a team but also possess the ability to work unsupervised, using your own initiative.
- Accuracy and attention to detail is essential for this post with a good level of competency in using all Microsoft applications. Strong organisational skills it essential.

The “must haves” for this role:- Registered Mental Health Nurse whereby the person is licensed to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care for patients with mental health problems.
- Degree in health/social care or equivalent qualification or experience.
- Willingness to develop practice, knowledge and skills to meet the needs of our service.
- Ability to work effectively in a team, work on own initiative, work unsupervised and manage own workload.
