Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a specialist High Voltage Engineering company who are looking for a Lead Electrical Design Engineer.
The company provide high-quality HV design installation and maintenance solutions for a wide variety of companies nationwide.
This role will be to lead on the design of electrical systems whilst managing and developing an engineering team.
The Lead Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for:
- Managing High Voltage systems design and engineering analysis
- Managing in-house design to ensure work is completed on time and to cost in line with client requirements and industry standards
- Liaising with external consultants and DNO’s
- Taking responsibility for the technical output of the team
- Developing and growing the team
- Working with the senior management team to develop customer offerings and expand into other HV markets
The Lead Electrical Design Engineer will need:
- Design experience within the High Voltage (HV) power transmission and distribution industry
- An appropriate engineering qualification
- Excellent people skills and management ability
- A willingness to support the team and achieve business commercial goals
