Management Accountant

Our client, a well-established independent Lloyd's Insurance Broker, based in the heart of the City of London, is looking for a Management Accountant to join their organisation. You will be joining a tight-knit finance team and reporting to their Head of Finance who has been with the business for over five years.This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven and personable individual to join a friendly, open and flexible working environment.
Your new role- Preparation of monthly management accounts
- Assist with the month-end process, maintaining balance sheet and P&L schedules and reconciliations
- Check, post and pay purchase invoices
- Reconcile sales, purchase and nominal ledgers as well as cash books and trial balances
- Preparation of revenue, expense and cash flow forecasts
- Work with management team on annual group and project budgets
- Assist with preparation of quarterly and year-end financial statements
- Assist with various regulatory reporting requirements
What you'll need to succeed
To be successfully considered for this brilliant opportunity, you will need experience working within an Insurance firm in a finance function, with extensive exposure to management accounts. You will be a strong team player who is confident in liaising with senior stakeholders.
