• Gathering and synthesising information to provide relevant information to decision-makers.Communication risk & opportunity concepts and information in a way that is easily understood.Ability to assimilate large volumes of detail, drawing out the key issues in a clear and concise way.Ability to provide guidance on a daily basis to the junior members of the team.Ability to adhere to the approved processes and to provide feedback to the manager.Ability to develop, monitor and report risk & opportunity management actions.Knowledge:Knowledge of Risk and Opportunity Management processes, ideally in large infrastructure projects.Knowledge and understanding of how to quantitatively and qualitatively assess complex and integrated construction and commissioning work.Type of Experience:Experience of working independently and as part of a broader team.Experience of reporting to internal stakeholders on risk management.Experience of enacting approved systems and processes to support the achievement of business goals.Risk Management qualification such as the Institute of Risk Management (IRM) or the Association of Project Management (APM).Experience of project/programme risk & opportunity management role within large scale, complex projects.The post-holder is expected to behave at all times in a manner consistent with the HS2 values of Safety, Leadership, Integrity and Respect.As HS2 Ltd do not hold a sponsorship license from the Home Office, we are not able to provide sponsorship to any applicant.
