Job Description:This SEND School are looking for an enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant with a genuine passion and experience working with pupils with speech and language difficulties. Experience with PECS or Makaton is highly desirable, though not essential.
Most importantly, the ideal special needs teaching assistant will possess a calm, nurturing demeanour and a proactive, can-do attitude. The successful SEN teaching assistant will play a crucial role in safeguarding and protecting the welfare of our children, collaborating closely with our supportive and dedicated staff.
Key Responsibilities:SEN Support: Assist pupils with SLCN
Specialist Skills: Experience with PECS and Makaton is advantageous.
Commitment: Full-time role, Monday to Friday.
Additional requirements: o References confirming suitability for role
o Commitment to Safeguardingo Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service
o Eligibility to work in the UK
