Job Description

Client Management: Primary client contact, relationship building, meeting handling
Technical Work: Prepare/review financial statements (UK GAAP/FRS 102), manage audits, handle tax computations, review VAT returns
Team Leadership: Supervise juniors, delegate work, provide training, participate in reviews
Practice Development: Identify new service opportunities, assist with proposals
Quality Control: Ensure adherence to firm procedures and regulatory requirements

Additional Responsibilities

Project management across multiple clients
Developing technical specializations
Advising on accounting technology solutions

The Successful Applicant

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA)
3-5 years practice experience
Strong technical knowledge
Emerging leadership skills

Functions as the bridge between junior staff and partners, requiring both technical expertise and people management abilities.
