Chef - Luxury Care Home

£30,000 per annum | 40 hours per week

Are you a passionate Chef looking for a rewarding role in a warm and welcoming environment? Our client, a luxury care home, is seeking a dedicated and creative Chef to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to bring culinary expertise to a setting where quality, nutrition, and resident satisfaction are at the heart of everything they do.

As a Chef, you will play a crucial role in delivering nutritious, well-balanced meals that cater to the diverse dietary needs of residents. Working in a state-of-the-art kitchen, you will lead meal planning, food preparation, and kitchen management while ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience & Training – Previous experience as a Chef, ideally in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
  • Certifications – Qualification in Food Preparation/Catering and a Food Hygiene Certificate.
  • Culinary Expertise – Strong cooking skills, knowledge of diverse cuisines, and ability to create balanced menus.
  • Health & Safety Knowledge – Understanding of food safety, hygiene, and health regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning & Preparation – Create and cook nutritious, visually appealing meals tailored to residents’ dietary needs and preferences.
  • Stock & Budget Management – Monitor inventory, order supplies, and ensure cost-effective meal preparation.
  • Hygiene & Safety Compliance – Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
  • Team Leadership – Train, support, and oversee kitchen staff to ensure efficient and high-quality service.
  • Resident Engagement – Build positive relationships with residents and respond to their dietary feedback and requests.
