Role: Cover Supervisor, part-time flexible work

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising Lessons: Oversee the smooth running of lessons throughout the school day, maintaining a positive and orderly learning environment conducive to student engagement and productivity.
- Managing Cover Work: Ensure effective delivery of cover work set by absent teachers, adhering to school policies and procedures to support continuity in learning. Distribute resources and instructions as per teacher's plans to facilitate student understanding and completion of tasks.
- Supporting Student Learning: Engage proactively with students, providing guidance and support as needed to foster their academic progress and personal development. Respond to queries and facilitate classroom discussions to enhance learning outcomes.
- Administrative Duties: Collect completed work at the end of lessons, checking for accuracy and ensuring it is promptly returned to the appropriate teachers or departments for assessment. Maintain records of student attendance and behavior to contribute to school-wide data management.
Requirements:
- Experience as a teaching assistant or cover supervisor.
- Interest in pursuing a career in education.
- Possession of an up-to-date enhanced DBS check, or willingness to undergo the process.
- Recent graduate (graduated within the last 2 years) preferred.
- Ability to engage with and inspire young learners.
