Maintenance Engineer

£48,000 - £52,000 DOE

Working closely with the Maintenance Team Leader and cross-functional departments, you will play a key part in reducing downtime, troubleshooting breakdowns, and implementing preventive maintenance strategies that drive the success of the business.

• Conduct timely preventive maintenance and servicing of equipment, ensuring minimal disruption to operations
• Follow established procedures for managing tools, parts, and materials in the store
• Promptly respond to breakdowns, diagnosing and resolving faults to restore equipment functionality
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain a variety of machinery and equipment on-site
• Collaborate with the Maintenance Team Leader and Manager to complete tasks and meet operational goals
• Identify and resolve technical issues, implementing corrective actions where necessary
• Assist with the installation of new equipment, evaluating spare part requirements and planning for future maintenance needs
• Ensure all tasks are carried out in line with health and safety guidelines, maintaining a safe working environment at all times

• Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer with an electrical bias
• Experienced within the food / fmcg sector
• Ability to fault-find on PLCs.

Shift Pattern: 4on / 4off.
