Teaching Assistant – Award-Winning SEN School Group (Kidderminster)

An award-winning Special Educational Needs (SEN) school group is seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team at their Kidderminster site. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a nurturing and inclusive educational environment, supporting children and young people with a range of additional needs.

About the Role:

  • Support teachers in delivering high-quality education tailored to students' individual needs.
  • Assist in the development of students’ social, emotional, and academic skills.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to create a safe and engaging learning environment.
  • Provide one-to-one or small group support where necessary.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEN or educational setting.
  • A compassionate and patient approach, with excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
  • A proactive and positive attitude, with a willingness to learn.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable but not essential.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • The school group cannot provide sponsorship, so candidates must have the right to work in the UK.
