Videographer/Content Editor
With a passion for sustainability, the CHES Editions internship program is highly sought after; as an education experience whereby interns get to work directly alongside the founder (a well known Art Director and style creative) as she grows the team, learning valuable tools in content creation, editing and storytelling - with successful candidates going on to achieve part-time and full-time roles within the sector.
We are seeking a talented volunteer to join our dynamic intern program as a creative Videographer/Content Editor. As a Videographer/Content Editor, you will be responsible for directing, capturing and editing high-quality video content for an exciting new project for YouTube & other social media platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, shoot, and edit video content for various projects, including but not limited to promotional videos, event coverage, interviews, and social media content
- Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop concepts and storyboards for video projects
- Operate and maintain video equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio equipment
- Conduct on-location and in-studio shoots, ensuring high-quality footage and audio
- Edit and assemble raw footage into a final product, ensuring a cohesive and engaging story
- Add graphics, music, and other elements to enhance the final video product
- Manage and organize video files and maintain a video library for easy access
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve video quality and storytelling
- Ensure all videos adhere to brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style
- Collaborate with the social media team to create video content for various social media platforms
- Assist with live streaming and virtual event production, as needed
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Media, or a related field
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar
- Strong understanding of video production techniques, including lighting, audio, and camera operation
- Excellent storytelling and creative skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A portfolio of previous video projects is required
- Own equipment (as preferred)
