Accounts Payable Assistant

Join a leading hospitality company as an Accounts Payable Assistant. This role is essential for managing the accounts payable operations across various global entities, ensuring efficient and accurate financial operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Review and process monthly supplier invoices, ensuring they are correctly issued, approved, and coded for posting to the global accounting system
• Prepare payment/wire transfer runs for the payment of employee expenses and supplier invoices.
• Review employee expenses to ensure compliance with company T&E policy and VAT requirements.
• Manage the collation of expense vouchers for onward billing and prepare charge-out information for the North American billing team.
• Utilise Concur expense systems for expense analytics.
• Conduct monthly supplier reconciliations and prepare monthly/quarterly VAT documentation for management review.
• Provide support to the wider finance team as required.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in an accounts payable/general ledger role.
• AAT or equivalent qualification preferred but not required
• Proficiency in accounting systems (Oracle preferred)
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
