Hays recruitment are currently recruiting for a customs clerk for our client based on the outskirts of Canterbury. This role is a permanent position starting asap.

Monday to Friday

£25,000 - £32,000 depending on experience.

Duties

Organising the customs clearance process for clients.
Ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations.
Prepare and review Import/export declarations, invoices, and certificates of origin, IPAFFS.
Liaise with customs authorities.
Track shipments to ensure timely clearance.
Handle any enquiries from clients.

Experience

3 years or more customs clearance clerk experience.
Knowledge of customs regulations.
Import/export experience.
Organisation skills.
Communication skills.
To meet tight deadlines
