PENSIONS PROJECT ADMINISTRATOR – GRADE 5

£28,879 - £33,232 pa

Do you have a working knowledge of defined benefit and defined contribution pension schemes? Then join our Pensions Team as a Project Administrator.

Joining a small team who work hybridly, this a full-time fixed term role for three years.

Your role and responsibilities will include:

Supporting the Pensions Team’s project activity over the next three years, contributing and monitoring progress on various work streams including:

  • Pensions Dashboards.
  • Benefit reconciliation, equalisation and rectification.
  • System improvement (letters).
  • System improvement (calculations).
  • Contributing to process improvement, giving suggestions and feedback on both existing and new processes across the Pensions Team and where necessary, documenting these processes fully.
  • Processing complex data sets in Excel in order to provide accurate data and information to external pension providers.
  • Providing cover for the day-to-day work of the Pensions Team as existing members work on the more complex aspects of project work. This cover would include processing member benefit calculations (automated with elements of manual calculations) and standard correspondence with members.
  • Maintain excellent communications with members of the Pensions Team, internal and external stakeholders and pension scheme members.

You will hold at least three GCSEs at grade C or above (or equivalent) including English Language and Mathematics.

You will be highly numerate, analytical and proficient in standard software packages, particularly Excel. You must be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, whilst paying attention to detail and achieving high levels of accuracy.

You will also be required to work on your own initiative within the scope of your role. The post is available on a fixed-term basis for 3 years.
