An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Surgical Services Division for the position of an Outpatient receptionist / Admin for Surgical Pre-Assessment. This post is particularly attractive as it supports a wide range of administration duties, ranging from face to face reception cover, to admin support.
The post will be for 29.5 hours with the working times of 1100- 1700 Monday
- Thursday and 1100
- 1630 Friday.
Unfortunately due to the banding of this role, it does not carry a visa sponsorship.
Main duties of the job
To provide a comprehensive clerical co-ordination service and to receive patients for the Pre-Assessment department.
The post involves receiving and handling information which is confidential and therefore the post holder must maintain strict confidentiality at all times.
Excel experience is essential to this role.

Chesterfield Royal Hospital is located in Calow, Chesterfield, which is situated on a green field site on the edge of the Peak District National Park. It is home to the Crooked Spire and is also close to Sheffield, Derby and Nottingham, thus offering numerous choices for recreational activities and lifestyles.
Chesterfield Royal Hospital was officially opened by the queen in 1985 and since then it has continued to expand and modernise, currently holding approximately 550 beds. We provide acute in-patient and out-patient care for Chesterfield and the surrounding rural area of North Derbyshire, serving a population of approximately 350,000 people.
We are currently rated GOOD by the CQC.

Qualifications & Training
Essential criteria- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent to include English & Maths at grades A-C (or equivalent)
- Completed secondary school education
Experience

- Use of telephone in a busy environment
