About the Role:Join our friendly team at Exeter Airport's Moorland Kitchen as a Kitchen Assistant. If you're looking to start or grow your career
in hospitality, this is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you’ll assist with food preparation and
kitchen maintenance.
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
- Basic Kitchen Skills: Experience or interest in food preparation, following recipes, and maintaining kitchen hygiene.
- Team Player: You enjoy working with others to create a positive kitchen atmosphere and support the chefs.
- Flexibility: You’re reliable and can access the airport for early shifts starting as early as 3 am. Early morning shifts (3 am
- 6 am) come with a £2 per hour uplift.
- Attention to Detail: You have a keen eye for cleanliness and safety, helping to maintain high hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support Food Preparation: Assist in preparing ingredients, following guidance from senior kitchen staff.
- Kitchen Upkeep: Ensure all kitchen areas are clean and meet food hygiene standards.
- Assist with Stock: Help with the proper handling, storage, and rotation of food supplies.
- Safety First: Follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
