Part time - 17.5 hours per week

The Opportunity:
The post-holder will provide administrative support to ensure the smooth running of Grasping Data and some broader activities for the Children, Interaction, and Design group. They will proactively undertake general administration, management of communications, event organisation, and financial administration including the management of transactions, procurement, team expenses.They will also support the collection of impact data and preparation of regular reports including documenting and uploading project outputs. They will maintain project finance records, monitor income and expenditure, forecast financial position and administer the research project grant in liaison with the relevant University of Edinburgh School Research, Knowledge Exchange and Impact (RKEI) Offices.

Your skills and attributes for success:
Strong background in providing administrative support, including financial administration, reporting and monitoring of complex projects
Possess a high level of initiative with evidence of proactivity
Previous experience of facilitating and advising on routine and complex procurement
Knowledge of best practice in maintaining external communications.
Proven record of successful event delivery
