Fantastic Independent Community Pharmacy seeking a Pharmacist Manager in an affluent area of London.

My client is currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Pharmacist Manager to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the highest standards of patient care, managing a team of pharmacy staff, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive pharmacist looking to step into a leadership position.

Open to 4 or 5 days in the week and alternate Saturdays.

Key Duties
  • Lead, manage, and develop a team of pharmacy staff.
  • Ensure the efficient and effective operation of the pharmacy, including stock management and accurate dispensing of prescriptions.
  • Provide expert advice to patients on medications, over-the-counter products, and lifestyle choices.
  • Maintain and update patient records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Oversee pharmacy audits, ensuring adherence to legal, ethical, and professional standards.
  • Implement and maintain pharmacy processes and procedures to improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care for patients.
  • Drive business performance and manage budgets where applicable.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements, and regulatory changes.
  • Mostly private prescriptions.

Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Proven experience in a similar pharmacy leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy practice, regulations, and compliance.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently, with a patient-centered approach.
  • A keen eye for detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Experience with dispensary systems and pharmacy software.
  • IP Ideally but not essential
