This is a great opportunity to work with an experienced HR Director and a growing business. No two days will be the same and you will get to work on some interesting projects.

Your role as the HR Advisor:
  • Support all recruitment activities, ensuring the attraction and on-boarding of top talent, while maintaining professional, smooth, and cost-effective processes.
  • Provide first-line support, advice, and guidance on employment issues and employee relations.
  • Assist with various HR activities and communications, including newsletters, team-building events, surveys, internships, apprentice schemes, and charity initiatives.
  • Evaluate and update HR processes and policies in line with best practice and legislative changes.
  • Develop and deliver training material to enhance employee competencies.
  • Maintain accurate records and prepare analyses, statistics, KPIs, annual reviews, and reports as required.
  • Assist with projects, payroll, and benefit preparations.
  • Provide mentorship to HR Admin Support to facilitate professional development.
  • Represent the HR department and the business positively in all settings, including emails, calls, meetings, and events.
  • Perform any other tasks necessary to support business needs or cover for absent colleagues.
Key Measurements as a HR Advisor include:
  • Monitoring hiring metrics such as number of vacancies, hiring costs, and time to fill positions.
  • Maintaining a candidate database and managing employee turnover.
  • Demonstrating good knowledge of the business, job roles, and staying up-to-date with laws and trends.
  • Establishing excellent relationships and reputation across all departments and levels.
  • Improving engagement, performance ratings, and training effectiveness.
  • Previous recruitment experience within an HR role or team, including using recruiting platforms and social networks.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and proficiency in office software.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and analytical skills.
