You have the opportunity to apply for a Mechanical Fitter position with a company that have been established since the late 1800s. Based in HUDDERSFIELD, just 10 minutes from the M62, this business is easily commutable from Halifax, Bradford, Leeds, Rochdale, Oldham, Manchester, Wakefield, Barnsley, Rotherham and Sheffield.

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Fitter:

Working directly from technical drawings & instruction whilst ensuring a high quality of workmanship

Compiling reports on the quality of components on gearboxes essential, recording serial/ cast numbers keeping all documents in order.

The Mechanical Fitter will:

Have experience of working with Gearboxes and Rotating Equipment

Working hours of the Mechanical Fitter: Regular day shifts working 37 hours per week

Friday – 07:30 to 12:30
