Level 3 Nursery Assistant

We are excited to announce the opening of a new nursery in Lenham and are looking for a passionate and dedicated Nursery Assistant. This role is perfect for someone who is Level 3 qualified in Childcare and is committed to providing high-quality care and education to young children.

Day-to-day of the role:

• Assist in the planning and implementation of educational activities that promote child development.
• Support the creation of a safe, nurturing environment where children can explore and learn.
• Help prepare meals and snacks, ensuring dietary needs are met and hygiene standards are maintained.
• Collaborate with other nursery staff to monitor and support the children’s progress and well-being.
• Engage with children in activities that foster their social, emotional, and physical development.
• Adhere to nursery policies and procedures, including those related to safeguarding and health and safety.
• Participate in staff meetings and undertake continuous professional development to enhance work practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Level 3 qualification in Childcare or equivalent.
• Proven experience in a nursery setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in a team and with young children.
• A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach to childcare.
• Ability to work flexibly and creatively within a dynamic environment.
