Experience of all elements of commercial property work with a focus on commercial leases (mainly investment leases), including agreements for lease, licences for alterations and assignment, service of LTA 1954 notices, rent review memos, side letters, break notices, deeds of variations, licences to underlet, enforcement of tenant’s covenants, reports on title, sales and acquisitions.
Local Government experience is not essential but commercial property experience particularly for private clients is essential, and the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
The work involved will relate mainly to the Pension Fund’s property investment holdings but there are other aspects of the Pension Fund’s legal work that the successful candidate may be asked to assist with, full training will be provided on any such matters.
