As a Contract Accountant, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the business through financial insight, analysis, and decision-making. From preparing reports to collaborating with stakeholders, you’ll help shape strategies, drive performance, and add value to commercial activities.Your Key ResponsibilitiesCommercial Support

• Partner with stakeholders (financial and non-financial) to ensure sound decision-making.
• Provide proactive, ad-hoc financial analysis to guide business strategies.
• Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities related to contracts and business performance.
• Maintain a robust balance sheet, highlighting risks and opportunities.Performance Management
• Prepare key business reports, including month-end summaries, budgets, client reports, and cash analysis.
• Conduct monthly balance sheet reviews, escalating critical insights to senior stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate sales and cost recognition during month-end processes.
• Drive working capital improvements through efficient billing and debt management.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and client tender documentation.
• Support operational teams during contract mobilization, ensuring timely execution.Relationship Management
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively as part of a high-performing finance team.What We’re Looking ForEssential Skills and Experience
• Actively studying or considering CIMA/ACCA/ACA.
• Passion for finance and a solid grasp of management accounting principles.
• Strong analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, able to present financial data clearly to varied audiences.Desirable Skills

• Advanced Excel skills.
