Role as an Economics and Business Studies Teacher
As an economics and business studies teacher, you will inspire students by delivering an engaging, real-world curriculum, preparing them for exams, higher education, and careers in finance, business, and entrepreneurship.
Key Responsibilities Include:- Teaching economics and business studies across KS4 and KS5, covering GCSE, A-level, and BTEC courses
- Planning and delivering engaging and practical lessons that bring economic and business concepts to life
- Preparing students for examinations, university applications, and career pathways in finance, business, and management
- Encouraging critical thinking, problem-solving, and commercial awareness among students
- Contributing to the development of the business and economics curriculum
- Supporting extracurricular activities such as enterprise clubs, competitions, and business-related events
- A qualified economics and business studies teacher (QTS required)
- Open to ECTs, with a structured induction and sector-leading CPD available
