Job Description:
As a Teacher of Science at Hulme Grammar School, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons in science subjects at Key Stage 3 level. You will inspire students’ curiosity about the natural world while developing their knowledge and understanding of scientific concepts.

The role involves planning lessons that meet curriculum requirements, assessing student progress, and contributing positively to the wider school community.

Skills and Qualifications:
  • No previous teaching experience required; suitable for newly qualified teachers or those new to teaching.
  • A strong background in Chemistry or Physics is preferred; candidates with expertise in Biology are also welcome.
  • Degree qualification in Chemistry, Physics, or related science subject essential.
  • Ability to communicate complex scientific ideas clearly and effectively to young learners.
  • Good organisational skills with the ability to plan lessons that engage students across different abilities.
  • Willingness to participate actively in departmental activities and contribute ideas for curriculum development.
