About Our Client

This company is a medium-sized organisation in the retail industry, seeking an Interim Finance Manager to oversee their financial operations and contribute to their continued success.

• Oversee payroll processes, including pension contributions and PAYE/NI calculations.
• Manage purchase and sales ledgers, ensuring accurate recording and timely payments.
• Handle Sage 50 transactions and reconciliations.
• Implement credit control measures and prepare cash flow projections.
• Manage banking transactions and perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Lead a small finance team and provide monthly financial reports to the Finance Director.
• Produce and analyse daily and weekly management information.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Interim Finance Manager should have:

• Experienced finance professional with a strong background in payroll, ledgers, and financial reconciliations.
• Experience working with Sage 50 or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong leadership abilities to manage a small team.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to produce and analyse management information to support business decisions.

• Competitive hourly rate up to £23 per hour.
• Rolling contract for 2-3 months with potential for extension.
