Sales Account Manager (Hybrid-Working!)
Our client, the go-to resource for Food & Beverage industry news, are looking to recruit a proactive, money-motivated Account Manager to join their growing business. Working on a hybrid basis with 3 days a week in their incredibly-central Bath office, this is a fantastic opportunity for the right candidate!
Our client have been established for 25 years and release Food & Beverage magazines/journals across several publications - they are a great client of ours and we have placed a number of very happy candidates here! They are an extremely well-respected company in the industry, and have recently expanded their magazine/website portfolio to also organise events and award shows. Due to their growth, they are actively seeking the right candidate to join and develop their business offering across Europe - both by managing their existing portfolio of clients and identifying new business opportunities elsewhere. In a nutshell, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing well established accounts to help them achieve their marketing goals, by matching needs with company portfolio of industry B2B magazines and digital platforms
- Offering an incredibly consultative sales approach to really understand each unique client's bespoke needs
- Developing new business through outreach/marketing
- Using a variety of contact methods (primarily email, video communication, social media, industry events) to determine client marketing objectives, and to pitch company
- Generating leads through thorough searches of press releases, magazines, search engines and exhibitions (in person and digital)
- Regularly updating the company CRM with accurate client information
In order to be considered for this position, it is ESSENTIAL that you have:
- Experience of working in a client-facing sales environment
- Experience of working to targets/KPI's
- Consultative sales approach - the ability to build rapport/learn more about each individual client, in order to identify the perfect solution every time
- Motivation to earn additional money on commission
- Credible, professional communication skills (and the ability to tailor communication style to different clients, etc)
- Fun, sociable personality!
Although not essential, any candidates with experience of Media/Advertising sales are strongly encouraged to apply!
In addition to a very competitive basic salary, our client are also offering the following:
- Uncapped commission structure (expected Year One OTE: £35,000 - £40,000)
