Cyber Security Architect / Consultant

6 Month Contract

Newcastle and London (Full time on-site work Required)

£750+ Per Day – OUTSIDE IR35

One of my national clients’ has secured a lucrative piece of work, which requires them to build from scratch a new IT estate (Greenfield project) for 1,300+ end users, across 45+ sites. This is required within a tight window/timeframe for H1 of 2025.

As such, my client is looking for a highly competent Cyber Security Architect / Consultant to join the project team (starting Monday 3rd February). This role will require onsite work, split between Newcastle and London, with the majority of work onsite.

Key Skills and Responsibilities

As the Architect within the project, you will be responsible for the design of the Cyber/Security functions, as well as all Quality Checks.

You will be responsible for the deployment of Cyber tooling + configuration. This will include tenable (vulnerability management).

From a EDR perspective – the client will be using Microsoft Defender for work stations and servers. Therefore experience of deploying and configuring this will be required.

Previous experience of managing Cloud, Email, Web and Mobile security will be essential in this role.

It will be highly desirable that you have experience of Rogue Wi-Fi scanning in your previous assignments.

Another desired attribute is having a sound knowledge / experience with Secure Score and Purview.
