A genuine interest in working with and developing young people is a requirement. Experience working with disengaged learners and inspiring them to learn would be highly valued.Previous teaching experience in the FE sector would be an advantage, but it is not a requirement.As long as you have the qualifications or experience to teach on our English courses and demonstrate the attributes to be an inspirational teacher, we can provide you with the necessary training, development and support to equip you to teach in the FE sector.Level 3 or above qualification in English or relevant qualification is essential.It is desirable if you have a teaching qualification and worked within education as a teacher, but this is not essential.Your communication and interpersonal skills will be outstanding and support your ability to deliver interesting and purposeful lessons to a diverse range of learners.You will also have strong organisation skills coupled with the ability to prioritise workloads and will benefit from being part of a supportive team, working in a varied and interesting role with a variety of opportunities for career development.What Activate Learning offer to new Teaching staff?Here at Activate Learning, we recognise the importance of a good induction when joining a new organisation.
