Autism Support Assistant – Southwark – Immediate Start
Are you a Psychology graduate passionate about supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)? This Autism Support Assistant role in Southwark offers an excellent opportunity to make a difference while gaining valuable experience.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with ASD, helping them succeed both academically and emotionally.
- Run intervention sessions to boost pupils’ development in key areas.
- Encourage children to engage with classroom activities, fostering participation and inclusion.
- Support pupils with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) needs, helping them regulate emotions and engage with their learning environment.Benefits of the Role:

- Collaborate with SENCo, Psychologists, and Therapists for a multidisciplinary learning experience.

- Minimum of a 2:1 degree in Psychology from a top UK university.
