Position Overview:As an SEND Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with challenging behaviour resulting from additional needs. You will be based in the room designed for pupils with challenging behaviour and complex needs, providing assistance and guidance to ensure a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pmDaily Rate of Pay: £90 - £115 per day, Start Date: 24th February 2025
Location: Nearby to Workington, West Cumbria

Key Responsibilities:- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to implement tailored strategies for students with autism who demonstrate challenging behaviour.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support as required.
- Have an enhanced DBS certificate (or be happy to apply for a new one), Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks.
- Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained.
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
