Engineering Risk Management Lead
You will provide strategic direction, thought leadership , and technical guidance to ensure our people, operations and communities are kept safe. Your expertise will directly contribute to the mitigation of our principal risks. You can be part of that success story.Your responsibilities:Develop and communicate a strategic vision for engineering risk management that aligns with organizational goals and objectives to drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.Define long-term roadmaps and tactical delivery plans to contribute to achieving company safety and financial targets as part of the engineering transformation.Manage the development and deployment of tools and processes to identify, mitigate and monitor risks associated with operations to keep our people and communities safe, and to protect our license to operate.Directly manage a team of technical experts (1-5 direct reports) and indirectly influence wider team of Technical Authorities to support our global sites with identifying cost-effective ways to improve the engineering controls around risks.Contribute to the delivery of capital projects globally by providing engineering guidance on safety by design, contributing to our company safety targets and proactive risk management.Partner with EHS, engineering Technical Authorities, and the sites to improve the management of high-risk categories such as Process, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, and Functional Safety amongst others.Create tools and governance to manage other engineering risk categories e.g.: Property Loss, Environmental Control,Regulatory Compliance, Engineering Quality Control, Disaster Preparation and Recovery, Engineering Change Management (MOC), Environmental Compliance.Establish and manage a Duty Holder Programme by creating tools, processes and governance for the Duty Holders to better manage safety early application is advised.For any queries or should you have any accessibility requirements, please contact who will work with you to implement suitable adjustments at any stage of the recruitment process.
