CNC Turner/Miller

This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Duties:

• Operate CNC turning/milling machines, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
• Fabricate components by interpreting technical drawings.
• Assemble parts and perform basic maths calculations to ensure accuracy in measurements.
• Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and tooling to ensure optimal performance.
• Utilise logic controllers for programming and troubleshooting machine operations.
• Handle materials efficiently within the warehouse environment, ensuring proper storage and inventory management.
• Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and resolve any issues that arise during manufacturing.
• Perform welding tasks as needed, adhering to safety guidelines and quality control measures.

• Minimum 3 years previous CNC turning / milling experience.
• Fully competent in programming FANUC & Mazatrol control systems.
• Ability to work using own initiative and undertake first off inspections
• Ability to pick up new tasks quickly and high level of skills retention
• Self-motivated and a good team member
• Knowledge & experience of machine exotics such has Hastelloy, Inconel, Super Duplex preferred but training would be given to successful candidate.
